This is my second traditional animation from my first quarter in grad school at SCAD, for my 2D principles of animation class. I'm taking it with Troy Gustafson (who's awesome by the way, and a former Disney animator, who worked on...drumroll....The Lion King!!)The first animations were a bouncing tennis ball and bowling ball (two separate animations). I will post those later. This flag is a redo, of a redo, of a redo (insert several more redos). Not perfect. Not bad. Definitely the most difficult animation I've done so far, traditional or computer. And from what I've heard from other students, and professors, the most difficult to master. I still need to practice and work on this, but I got an A-, so I have to say, not too shabby. :D That's why I'm posting this as my first animation post, so that they better ones will come later. ;) I mean, a bouncing ball is not that hard.... :)
